Spray Booths
RDM Engineering is one of the world's largest manufacturers of paint spraybooths, with over 75 years' experience behind every booth we build. Our paint and powder coating division offers a full service, from the supply of a simple spraybooth through to a fully automated paint line, engineered to ISO-accredited standards and built to stay reliably in service for 20 to 30 years. Dry Filter Spray Booths
Dryfilter booths are designed to remove fumes from industrial environments such as paint spray shops, ensuring healthy and suitable working conditions and compliance with inspectorate requirements. Special paper filters are used to which any sticky particles adhere, allowing a large volume of fume laden air to be extracted from the area. Developed through RDM’s engineering expertise, these units integrate seamlessly into standard spray shop layouts.
Water Wash Spray Booths
Waterwash booths are designed to remove high levels of toxic fumes from spray shops and other industrial environments, ensuring healthy and suitable working conditions, and compliance with inspectorate requirements. They are ideal for Powder Coating Applications and are most suited to high volume users.
Enclosed Spray Rooms
These enclosures offer the ideal controlled environment for your finishing, curing or drying requirements, often specified alongside industrial ovens, and prevent these processes contaminating other areas. They can be designed to provide differing degrees of cleanliness, heating systems or air conditioning when required.
Powder Coating Booths
Our traditional Powder Coating Booths are most usual on conveyorised powder coating plants, where Cyclone and Afterfilter extraction is well suited to Powder reclamation. The Booths are available in any size to suit the product.
Podbooths
The newly updated RDM PODBOOTH range of Cartridge Style Powder Coating Booths, offers an excellent and compact alternative to more traditional Powder Coating Booths which often require separate Cyclone and Filter Modules. These systems can be integrated into new production lines or retrofitted alongside used machinery.
FAQs
Both extract wet paint overspray, but they trap it differently. Dry filter booths pass air through disposable paper or polyester filters that you can change in minutes, making them a low-cost, easy-maintenance option. Waterwash booths use a water curtain and baffle plate system instead, so there are no filters to buy or replace, which tends to suit higher-volume, continuous production better.
It depends on the system. Our podbooths offer simple reclaim, particularly for single-colour use, where recovered powder can be added back to virgin powder. The wider powder coating booth range includes cyclone and afterfilter systems designed for full powder recovery on higher-volume or multi-colour lines, where cartridge pods are swapped as part of the colour-change process.
All RDM industrial spray booths carry a comprehensive 12-month warranty as standard, with optional extras including full on-site installation, a service contract, priority service, and technical support.
