Introduction

Dryfilter booths are designed to remove fumes from industrial environments such as paint spray shops, ensuring healthy and suitable working conditions and compliance with inspectorate requirements. Special paper filters are used to which any sticky particles adhere, allowing a large volume of fume laden air to be extracted from the area.

	Bench Type Dryfilter Booth. Supplied in a large range of modular sizes these units incorporate a robust work bench and lighting panel as standard. The Bench can be fixed at a height to suit the operator and a variety of work depths are available. The belt driven axial fan can be fitted on top or at the rear.
Low Level Extraction Plenums. Supplied in a vast range of modular sizes these units are generaly used to convert rooms into sprayrooms. The belt driven axial fan can be fitted on top or at the rear.
	Standard Dryfilter Booth. Supplied in a vast range of modular sizes these units incorporate a 1 metre depth canopy as standard. A huge variety of canopy depths and options are available. The belt driven axial fan(s) can be fitted on top or at the rear.
Extended Height Dryfilter Booth. Supplied in a large range of modular sizes these units are available in a variety of heights to suit taller work pieces. A vast range of canopy and sizing options are available. The belt driven axial fan(s) can be fitted on top or at the rear.

Fans are of the belt driven axial flow type with polypropylene impellors. Bearings are sealed and the belt tunnel is sealed from the airstream. External motors sit on large adjustable plates. Fan cases have integral access doors. A finger guard protects the fan inlet.

Filters are either, 'Andrea' paper filters, usually two tiers, each 900mm high. Or, fibre glass 'soil and strip' filters of similar dimensions to the andrea type, with steel frames onto which the filters can be placed.

	Standard Andrea Paper Filters. This is our standard, economical, filter system. The Paint laden air is forced to travel a tortuous route, causing sticky paint to adhere to the paper.
	HEF Andrea Paper/ Polyester Filters. This is our high efficiency filter system. The Paint laden air must also pass the polyester backing. As with the above it is shipped in 9 metre folded cartons.
	Simple Filter Replacement. The filters are supplied in folded concertina form and are very easily removed and fitted, a process taking only a few minutes. Filters are available from stock at a very low cost.

Construction is a galvanised steel modular bolted panelwork system double folded for stiffness. All bolts are bright zinc plated.

Control Gear a push button starter, with thermal overload is supplied for each motor. A simple manometer ( above ) is available to indicate when a filter change is due.

Lighting (When supplied) Special panels for roof, or sides carry a rough cast wired glass insert. Glass sits on a ribbonseal strip. Illumination is provided by standard twin fluorescent lights usually 5ft long, complete with a reflector. Side lights are mounted on heavy duty steel hinges.

Motors 3 phase - 415 volts - 50 Hz as standard, Available IP54, IP55 or fully flameproof. ( other voltages to order )

Waterwash Booth STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

Fans are of the belt driven axial flow type with polypropylene impellors. Bearings are watertight sealed and the belt tunnel is sealed from the airstream. External motors sit on large adjustable plates. Fan cases have integral access doors.
	Pump is a heavy duty self priming centrifugal pump alongside the water tank with steel delivery pipes and flexible inlet connection, typical circulation rate 850 litres per minute.
Water Scrubb System A manifold runs across the full length of the wash tower. Three brass spray nozzles per metre length feed from the manifold. Nominal spray pressure of 20PSI. One riser pipe per metre section with a brass gate valve supplies water to troughs at the top of the water curtain.
	Water Recovery extracted water laden air strikes a minimum of six angled, oversized baffle plates which trap any airborne water particles. The air is then caused to turn sharply into the plenum chamber to centrifugally remove any remaining moisture.
Water Tank Of first quality 14 SWG galvanised steel modular sections. The assembled tank incorporates a seperate small weir tank housing a ball-cock filler as well as a removable perforated steel water filter for the pump inlet. Tank capacity 350 litres per metre length.

	Chemicals Booths supplied as standard with a pack of spraybooth additive. Liquid or powder chemicals are available to suit specific applications. Control Gear push button starters, with thermal overload for each motor. Motors 3 phase - 415 volts - 50 Hz as standard, Available IP54, IP55 or fully flameproof. ( other voltages to order ) Fanchek5. To ensure the fans are running prior to spraying commencing, FANCHEK5 senses the fans are running and enables the compressed air.
